Mayu is highly sensitive to the spirit world, but is not capable of controlling the forces acting upon her. Physically frail, she has grown dependent on her younger sister. Mio is less sensitive to the spirit world than Mayu, but when she holds her sisters hand, she can share visions of the impossible scenes that Mayu can see.
